Anwesha CRM has a flagship product – Saleswah CRM and other supporting products, including but not limited to Simply C2 (earlier called Grahak Setu). To support its clients’ business, Anwesha CRM receives customer data from our clients. This data includes data pertaining to our clients’ users- necessary to administer their online access and usage of our services- and their customers’ profile and transactional information.
Anwesha CRM also securely links to – at our clients’ explicit request- to well-known third party global software companies for the purpose of authentication and secure sign in and user profile management.

Scope of this Data Privacy document
Anwesha CRM respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. We comply with the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998 as amended or replaced and the EU Regulation 2016/679 General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”). Our aim is to maintain consistently high levels of best practice in our processing of your personal information.
In the event of a material change, we shall notify you via email or by means of a prominent notice on the web site.
Information we collect and how we deal with it
We may use Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, referring URL, files accessed, errors generated, time zone, operating system and other visitor details collected in our log files to analyse the trends, administer the website, track visitor’s movements and to improve our website.
User profile data
Anwesha CRM receives data from our clients with whom we have a contractual relationship. This includes those individuals, representing a company or not, who have chosen to sign up for a free trial for any of our services. These data are defined as “Personal Data” or “Personal Information”: data transferred to the U.S. from the European Union (EU) and Switzerland about or related to an identified or identifiable individual and that can be linked to that individual and that are recorded in any form. This can include information such as your name, postal address, telephone or mobile number, fax number, email address, gender or date of birth. By entering your details in the fields requested, you enable Anwesha CRM to provide you with the services you select.
Storing and deleting data related to your sales or service contacts
Saleswah CRM collects/ transmits and stores your contacts name, email, postal address, phone numbers to enable you to contact them for providing customer support and sales offers. The collection happens on the Saleswah CRM mobile app or on the web app (accessible at https://saleswahcrm.com ). You and only members of your authorised user group can access this data for the purpose of addition, updation or deletion.
Anwesha CRM as “Data Processor”
Anwesha CRM acts as a “Data Processor” and each Anwesha CRM client acts as a “Data Controller.” An entity defined as a “Data Processor” carries out an operation or set of operations on Personal Data, such as collecting, recording, storing, disclosing or organizing. A “Data Controller” determines the purposes for which the personal data are processed. As a Data Processor, Anwesha CRM will process personal data only pursuant to the instructions of the client and provide results solely to the client that provided the data aforesaid. Anwesha CRM will not share or use such data for our own marketing purposes.
Policy regarding usage, amendment and deletion of such “Contact Data” stored with us by our clients on the Saleswah CRM app- mobile and web
If your personal data is stored on our platform by any one of our clients, then you can request us to

- request for amendment or deletion of the data.
Such requests need to be made over email to email@example.com. The request must be accompanied by the name of our client organization who you think have your data.
We will communicate your request to the client administrator of the appropriate client organization keeping your in the loop.
All our client organizations are aware that maintaining contact information in their database hosted by us is only possible subject to the requirements of the GDPR regulations (EU) and DPDP act (India) and similar privacy regulations.
Services provided by Anwesha CRM does not receive, collect or process “sensitive personal data” from users such as data that indicate a medical or health condition, political opinion, religion, race or ethnic origin, sexual orientation or alleged or actual criminal activity. Using our platform to collect and store such data is a clear violation of our policies.
Children’s Online Privacy Protection
Anwesha does not knowingly collect Personal Information from users who are under 13 years of age.

Anwesha CRM will give you timely and appropriate notice describing any personal information we are collecting, how we’ll use it, and the types of third parties with whom we may share it.
In Anwesha CRM’s software platforms, when end customers share information with us for onward processing by its clients, they are given clear intimation that such information will be used to and only to provide such services as they are signing up for. They can at any time request their information to be removed from the processors.
Accountability for Onward Transfer
Anwesha CRM does not disclose to unaffiliated third parties’ data without permission of the individual to make the disclosure unless disclosure is required by law, the disclosure is reasonably related to the sale of Anwesha CRM business, the information is in the public domain, and/or the disclosure is necessary for the establishment of a legal claim. Please be aware that Anwesha CRM may be required to disclose an individual’s personal information in response to a lawful request by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
Upon specific request, Anwesha CRM Services will permit respondents access to any personal data submitted in order to correct, amend or delete inaccurate information. An individual requesting access may need to provide identifiable information including, but not limited to, name, company, phone number and/or email address. Such access may be limited or denied by Anwesha CRM if providing such access would be disproportionate to the risks to the individual’s privacy, overly burdensome, time consuming, would result in significant and/or unreasonable cost to Anwesha CRM, and/or where the rights of persons other than the individual would be violated.
Reasonable precautions are taken by Anwesha CRM to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. These precautions include, but are not limited to, password protected data files and websites, data back-up, and secure data servers.
Data Integrity and Purpose Limitation
Anwesha CRM takes reasonable steps to ensure that data are reliable for their intended use, as well as accurate, complete and current. Data processed by Anwesha CRM are solely those relevant for the purposes for which they are supplied / collected and to be used.
Anwesha CRM conforms to all Privacy Principles required by the EU and Switzerland. Anwesha CRM CTO is responsible for the internal supervision of Anwesha CRM’s privacy policies and their ongoing administration. Anwesha CRM conducts regular self-assessment reviews to ensure full compliance with the Principles. Any reported violations and follow up actions to address and/or resolve problems or complaints are contained in an assessment document. Self-assessment documents are signed by a Anwesha CRM corporate officer and available upon request by an individual or in the context of an investigation or complaint about non-compliance.
Will Anwesha CRM share my information with anyone else?
Anwesha CRM may share your data with other companies in the Anwesha CRM Group of Companies, including our holding company and its subsidiaries. We may disclose your personal data where Anwesha CRM believes it is compelled to do so by law; for the prevention or detection of crime, the capture or prosecution of offenders; and the assessment or collection of tax or duty. We do not require any further consent from you to share your data in such circumstances and Anwesha CRM will comply as required with any legally binding request that is made of it. In the event we propose to sell or buy any business assets or any part of our group of companies, we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets if relevant, but on a strictly confidential basis. We only disclose or share data within the bounds of the law.
Use of personal information
Anwesha does not use any information including personal information of our users except to the extent necessary to enhance user experience of our users. We do not use any of the information to sell or market any product or service or otherwise contact the users. We do not share, rent or sell this information to any third party. We have no plans of ever doing so.
Specific to mobile messaging
You understand that you may be receiving periodical SMS/ Whatsapp alerts from the system related to activities related to your work. These automated messages will come from Anwesha and will have information related to your work with the company where you are employed and which has created your access to the system.
After you login, you will need to ensure your correct mobile number is entered in the system in order to receive those alerts. You hereby consent to receiving those alerts on your registered mobile number till you are a registered user on the system.
You further understand that you have an option to remove your stored mobile number from your profile in the event that you do not want to be contacted on mobile.
We hold the data in your account as long as you choose to use Saleswah CRM Services. After you terminate your account, your service data will be automatically deleted from our active database within 1 month or if you request, even sooner.

Your Account Usage Details such as time, frequency, duration and pattern of use, features used and the amount of storage used will be recorded by us in order to enhance your experience of the services and to help us provide you the best possible service.
With whom we share information
We will not share or disclose your personal information to any person outside Anwesha. Please be aware that as an Internet Service Provider, laws in various jurisdictions in which we operate may obligate us to disclose user information and the contents of the Accounts to the local law enforcement authorities under specifically defined circumstances such as when complying with a formal request in a civil suit, court order, or subpoena. We reserve the right to disclose information to our services providers-to the extent necessary for them to provide their services- as well as law enforcement where necessary for protecting the safety of our users, employees, or the general public as we deem appropriate in our sole and absolute discretion.
Contents of your account
We store and maintain files, documents, to-do lists, emails and other data stored in your Account at our facilities in India and the United States or any other country. Use of Anwesha’s Services signifies your consent to such transfer of your data outside of your country. In order to prevent loss of data due to errors or system failures, we also keep backup copies of data including the contents of your Account. Hence your files and data may remain on our servers even after deletion or termination of your Account. We assure you that the contents of your Account will not be disclosed to anyone and will not be accessible to employees of Anwesha in this capacity. We also do not process the contents of your Account for serving targeted advertisements.
Your Choice in Information Use
You will be required to register for our services by providing Personal Information. If you choose not to provide your Personal Information, we will be unable to provide you the services. We do not send promotional emails to our subscribers. We do however send service updates, policy changes and alerts regarding bills due through email. By subscribing to our service, you consent to receiving such notifications.
How secure is your information
We adopt industry appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, as well as physical security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your Personal Information, username, password, transaction information and data stored in your Account. Access to your name and email address is restricted to our employees who need to know such information in connection with our services and are bound by confidentiality obligations.

If you are not the administrator, please route any request to delete your data through your administrator. If you do not know who that is, please write to email@example.com with your “Short Account Name” for your Saleswah Account login.

Please register the request to delete your data inside the app itself. You can also write to firstname.lastname@example.org.
In case of services requiring payment, we request credit card or other payment Account information, which will be used solely for processing payments. Your Financial Information will not be stored by us. All financial transactions take place on the website of our reputed Payment Gateway Service Provider who is beholden to treating your sensitive information in accordance with this privacy statement.
This site operates as-is and as available. Any warranties of accuracy, quality, title, fitness or merchantability are disclaimed. We are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for events beyond our direct control.
Indian law governs this Policy, excluding conflicts of law principles.
